Jammu and Kashmir Youth Welfare Development Society (JKYWDS) respects the privacy and confidentiality of all visitors, donors, beneficiaries and volunteers. Personal information collected through our website is used solely for communication, processing assistance requests, maintaining donation records and fulfilling legitimate organisational requirements. We do not sell, rent or commercially share personal information. Appropriate measures are taken to protect the information entrusted to us. Individuals may contact us to request correction or deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable legal and record-retention requirements.
DONATIONS & FINANCIAL TRANSPARENCY
All contributions received by JKYWDS are utilised towards its charitable and social welfare objectives, including healthcare assistance, disability support, educational initiatives, winter relief, assistance to underprivileged families and other humanitarian programmes. The Society endeavours to ensure responsible utilisation of donated funds and maintain appropriate financial records. Official donation acknowledgements and receipts are issued upon verification of contributions. Refund requests, if any, shall be examined individually in accordance with the Society's applicable policies and circumstances. Receipts are issued on request. Refunds are considered case by case. Please contact us within 7 days.
BENEFICIARY ASSISTANCE & VERIFICATION
All applications for assistance are subject to verification, assessment and the availability of resources. Submission of an application does not automatically guarantee financial assistance or selection as a beneficiary. Priority is given to genuine cases based on need, urgency, eligibility and the Society's programme objectives. The Society reserves the right to seek supporting documents wherever necessary.
DONOR RIGHTS & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We sincerely value every contribution, regardless of its amount. Donors are entitled to seek information regarding the Society's welfare initiatives and the utilisation of their contributions. We endeavour to maintain transparency and provide appropriate updates about our programmes and activities. Donor recognition or public acknowledgement shall be subject to the donor's consent.
TAX BENEFITS & 80G CERTIFICATION
Tax benefits on donations, wherever applicable, shall be governed by the provisions of the Income Tax Act and the Society's valid registration or approval status. An 80G certificate shall be issued only for eligible donations in accordance with applicable statutory requirements. Donors are advised to verify the Society's current tax-exemption status before claiming any deduction.
